loved it

Great setting with interesting ideas and characters. Solving this mystery really surprised me. I even never guessed at the ending.

A fun cozy mystery

I enjoyed this one, I almost had the killer figured out correctly. I love it when I'm off a bit, kudos to the author. I do have a bit of a problem believing that the cops consider you the main suspect in a murder investigation and they don't do enough research to find out your real name, but cops do tend to look inept in any book or movie where a regular person solves their cases so that's not a problem. I enjoyed Sam's character, she had empathy for those around her born from her trials in life instead of seeing the worst she sought the best. That's a pleasure to read. I loved the farm with its mini cows and goats. Seeing her begin to reach out to Annabelle as a friend was also a plus. Overall it wasn't just a cozy because it was clean, but also a heart cozy, helping you see that everyone has problems they're working through.

Suspenseful and Gripping

Hanging on the edge of each page! Never knowing which direction and who did what makes for a page turner.

Fun cozy mystery

I enjoyed the characters and setting of this book. Just not convinced the police would not do a background check on Sam and easily find out who she was.

A- if I had to give it a grade. That phone thing just bugs me

An adult woman who acts like an adult, that's refreshing. Introduces interesting characters but not at a pace you can't keep track of them. A cat, mini-cows, a goat, what's not to love. Very different character backstory of how she got to this point in her life. I enjoy learning about herbology in small bits.But...when she first goes out to the mini-cow farm it is highly stress there isn't any cell service. Stressed. Yet leter when she needs to call police she steps outside and has perfect service. If that is fixible by the author it should be done.
