One flight. One murder. A hotel full of suspects…
Stewardess Patty Byrne thought serving champagne to Hollywood's elite at thirty thousand feet would be glamorous. She was wrong.
When rising starlet Rose Rosetti dies mysteriously during a flight to Las Vegas, Patty finds herself trapped in a luxury hotel with a plane full of suspects—including fading movie queen Victoria Starling, a ruthless studio head, and a casino owner with secrets of his own. With everyone confined until the killer is found, tensions explode and old resentments surface. Behind the glitz and glamour of 1960s Hollywood lies a world of obsession, ambition, and deadly secrets.
Can Patty unmask the murderer before she becomes the next victim?

I enjoyed this book from page 1, and of course I read the first in the series. Wonderful characters and easy to read. I look forward to reading the next…love may be in the air 💘
As an air stewardess, Patricia Byrne leads an exciting life, but when she's asked to work a special celebrity flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, she's exceptionally thrilled. But the flight isn't what she expected; an air of tension hovers over the passengers, and then, one of them is found dead. The suspects, limited to those in first class - including the stewardesses - are all under suspicion. Patty needs to clear her name before she can return to work.
This series is a fantastic retrospective of the high-flying life (pun intended) of stewardesses in the 1960s. Patty is a delightful character: poised and charming. As a detective, she uses her "people skills" honed from hours in the air, observing her clients and their wants and needs.
In Plane Sight finds Patty utilising all her strengths to track down a killer whose wiles are as polished as her own. The resulting mystery twists and turns, leaving the reader with a handful of red herrings and an astounded expression.
The author found an uncontrived way to bring together the supporting cast from the previous book. It was lovely to see them again as they supported Patty in her endeavours.
I recommend this well-crafted look at the 1960s smart set. It definitely was a trip!
Thank you to Carly Winter and BookSirens for the opportunity to read this digital ARC. As always, my opinions are my own, honest and true.
So many misleading red herrings, and that means more suspects to weed through- a sleuths dreams or nightmare ?? Patty the stewardess, is in the middle of it all!! She eavesdrops one too many times and comes close to being the next victim of the killer!!
This was an exciting suspenseful mystery that kept me guessing and devouring this read. A bit if romance is an added attraction. An exciting adventure to take. I voluntarily read this book provided by book sirens and am giving an honest review.
Patty is a stewardess who has a surprising ability of solving murders. She is caught up in the mystery of an younger actress who has been poisoned by pills put into Champaign. Who did the deed?
I received a complimentary copy of this book. This in no way affects my opinion of this book.
