An innocent has never looked so guilty…
When a girl is found dead at an all-night house party, the sheriff accuses Gina’s son, Jacob, of being the murderer.
Despite the evidence stacked up against him, Gina is determined to find the real killer and bring them to justice. However, her quest for the truth is complicated by two unexpected obstacles: the fluffy, blonde puppy that is now in her care, and the return of her long-estranged mother.
As she works to track down the murderer with her talking dog, Daisy, at her side, Gina realizes that her unscrupulous family history just might come in handy in helping her solve the case.
But how far will a mother go to prove her child’s innocence?

I liked all of the previous Talking Dog series. However, this one ended abruptly. She finished the story in about 1 paragraph when it should have been at least another chapter. No follow up, no wrapping up loose threads. Nothing. Very disappointed.
A sweet puppy mystery couldn't wait to start reading it. Gina is a single mom trying to save her son who is the prime suspect in the killing of a local girl. Will she be able to save her son and locate the real killer. What she wasn't counting on was being a foster mom to two adorable puppies. Daisy is her talking dog, and she is trying to help solve this crime before it's too late. She wasn't expecting her mom to show up and then the mysterious family history.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed the plot of the story. The characters in this story were so real that I felt like I was a part of the story. A great read by a favorite author. I cannot wait for another book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved them!!!!!
I received an ARC ad this is my voluntary review. A great series that is a quick fun read. Gina must solve a murder that has her son Jacob as the prime suspect. Daisy is adorable and gives us lots of humor. This mystery also introduces Gina's mom who helps her in the quest for justice.
