Snowed in while grounded in Chicago, one of the crew is found murdered in her room. The police think it’s one of the crew who is a murderer.
Once again Patty gets involved and there’s the added bonus of the lead detective.

Patty Byrne feels like her feet haven't touched the ground; her first international flight - to Hong Kong no less - was a great success and another step up the ladder of her stewardess career. Now, in Chicago, she's stuck with the flight team as they wait out a stormstorm that's dropped two feet of snow on the city. And when the stewardess in the room next to her is murdered, Patty fears that the incompetent detective assigned to the case will never let them leave.
I love stepping back through time with Patty. The sights and sounds are authentically the 60s, and the author does an amazing job helping the reader acclimatise to the era. There are many twists and turns to this mystery; one of them is, frankly, quite lovely.
Terminal Intentions is the fourth book in the Patty Byrne Cozy Mysteries series. It can be read as a standalone, but the reader risks spoiling plot points in previous books when they go back to read them (and they will!).

Carly has done it again. I really enjoy her cozy murder mysteries and this one does not disappoint.
Patty is stuck in Chicago with a snow storm after going internationally to Hong Kong. WOW. So realistic. Parts are scary, and can empathize with the layover, jet lag and loss of sleep. Panic...Screams...and not able to contact her boyfriend Bill (FBI agent.) Who can she trust? I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Could not put this down. Great job!
This was quite a suspenseful and gripping mystery. One stewardess is found dead and another seems to be wearing high priced perfume and clothing!!! Patty is ever observant, and as fate would have it, she finds the body of a fellow stewardess and has more questions than answers. Did she ask the wrong person fsome highly suspicious questions and bring attention to herself unwittingly???
She called her go to- Bill- FBI, but no answer twice!! Is she the next victim , or will Bill pickup on the missed calls Patty made to him and check things out for himself??? The twists and turns are very dangerous. Oh no!!! An exciting page turner must read.
